Ohio Historic National Road Design Handbook Winds Another Award

EDGE has been honored with a Merit Award from the Ohio Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) for their work on the Ohio Historic National Road Design Handbook.

The Ohio Historic National Road Design Handbook provides guidance for the protection, enhancement and promotion of the Historic National Scenic Byway in Ohio. The Handbook represents one of the most extensive sets of guidelines ever assembled for a scenic byway and is by far the most comprehensive handbook that has been prepared for any of the National Road states.

The EDGE Group collaborated with Judith B. Williams, Historic Preservation Consultant and Lincoln Street Studio, Architecture & Planning on this award-winning document. The Ohio Historic National Road Design Handbook was previously honored with the 2007AASHTO Scenic Byway Award and the 2007 Scenic Ohio Award.
