Quenton Bortmas

LEED Green Associate

Landscape Designer

Quenton is a landscape designer with a sharp eye for visual communication and a passion for design that balances form and function. With a background in 2D and 3D rendering, his skill in digital visualization brings a clean graphic style to his work. He believes that how we represent ideas can be as important as the ideas themselves, and the power of compelling graphics to help move projects forward.

Quenton began his career in Chicago, where he contributed to ambitious, large-scale projects that have helped shape his passion for detailed design. He sees landscape as the connective tissue that brings buildings and environments to life, creating experiences that are greater than the sum of their parts. He’s also deeply curious about how sustainable design is practiced across different regions, a topic he has explored in a forthcoming article for Landscape Journal and presented at the CELA conference.

Outside of the studio, Quenton is on a mission to visit all 63 National Parks and as many baseball stadiums as possible. A collector at heart, he’s already checked several off the list, including Redwood National Park, where the experience is too big to put into words.
