Jennings Sports Park

Lewis Center, OH

Game days at Jennings Sports Park draw families and teams to Lewis Center, where evenings and weekends are spent outdoors around the fields. Planned as part of the larger Evans Farm neighborhood, the 56-acre sports complex gives one of central Ohio’s fastest-growing areas a destination designed around recreation and community life.

EDGE guided the planning and design of the park, shaping the site to grow alongside the surrounding development. The first phase is now complete, with four multi-sport diamonds already drawing in leagues and tournaments. Designed with integrated overlays for soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey, the initial buildout immediately broadened the park’s range of use while setting the framework for future expansion. Two additional softball fields and four dedicated multi-purpose fields are planned as part of the full vision for the complex.

Synthetic turf playing surfaces allow Jennings to remain active throughout the season while maintaining consistent playing conditions. LED lighting, digital scoreboards, and live-streaming cameras create an atmosphere equipped for competitive play and large weekend events. At the center of the complex, a multi-level pavilion overlooking the championship field creates a natural gathering point throughout the day. Families move between playgrounds and picnic spaces while spectators gather along walking paths and seating areas between games. Batting cages and training spaces give athletes dedicated places to practice and support skill development throughout the week. With additional fields and amenities still ahead, Jennings Sports Park will continue helping Delaware County meet the growing demand for high-quality recreation while giving Lewis Center a shared destination built around outdoor activity and youth sports.
