Rachel is a land planner and designer with a passion for creating vibrant places that encourage people to spend more time outdoors and engage with their communities. Her dual focus in landscape architecture and city and regional planning informs a perspective that considers the built environment at every scale, from individual sites to broader community patterns and development strategies. She is particularly interested in urban design and the role public spaces play in shaping everyday interactions.
Rachel brings a thoughtful, human-centric approach to planning, with experience spanning single-family residential communities, multifamily developments, townhomes, mixed-use retail, corporate offices, and senior living environments. Her background includes both large-scale planning and detailed site design, allowing her to translate development visions into implementable plans. Through her work she has developed an understanding of the land use, entitlement, and design considerations that shape successful growth and development.
A semester studying abroad in Copenhagen and a year practicing in North Carolina have left lasting impressions on Rachel’s approach to planning and urban design, reinforcing the value of walkable environments and thoughtfully designed public spaces. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, discovering new foods, and reading. Whether exploring a new city or close to home, she finds inspiration in the character, culture, and public spaces that bring people together and make every place unique.
