An ideal community: 500-acre Tennessee site transforms into thriving village
Careful modeling creates hub for work, life, and play
Located on 500 acres in Hendersonville, TN, Indian Lake Village is a carefully modeled hub. It includes corporate headquarters, upscale retail and dining, and an inviting village with nearly 1,100 lifestyle homes, parks, and trails.
Built based on nationally acclaimed principles of planning and design, Indian Lake Village features 2.5 million square feet of office space, 1.5 million square feet of retail, 1100 residential units, and a 20-acre community park.
Collaborative process creates outdoor variety
EDGE served as the lead consultant on the project, providing land planning and entitlement services, design guidelines, architectural review, site planning, streetscape design, branding, and graphic design services. EDGE also served as the lead consultant and designer of the 40-acre community park and greenway within the Indian Lake Village development.
Over one million dollars in improvements included an entry pavilion, picnic areas, trailheads, a pedestrian bridge, playfield grading, and a 3-mile leisure trail loop. The collaborative process included coordination with the City of Hendersonville regarding floodway encroachment issues and coordination with the City’s overall Greenway Masterplan.
